Beyond her professional background, Tanjina’s global travel and cross-cultural exposure profoundly shaped her perspective. Having traveled extensively across the United States and internationally, she observed how cultural norms, government systems, language, and daily life differ dramatically from one country to another. She witnessed how individuals from regions such as the Middle East, Asia, and beyond experience profound structural and cultural shock when transitioning to the United States—facing unfamiliar systems, language barriers, and a lack of coordinated guidance. These observations reinforced a critical insight: most immigration services address paperwork, not the reality of integration.

Through volunteer and community involvement, Tanjina worked closely with individuals and families adjusting to life in the United States. These experiences revealed recurring challenges: misunderstood processes, fragmented advisory support, and difficulty aligning immigration decisions with long-term financial, business, and family goals.
